As the material comes out from the unwinder, it goes to the slitter to cut it into smaller widths, according to the preferences. Once it has been slit, it is then taken to the rewinder, which rolls the film that has been resized. The mechanical machines to cut on substrates can be grouped into three types of slitting: Razor Slitting, Shear Slitting and Score Slitting.
